We are Finally Home
Madelyn didn't get her shot of steroids until right after noon and then we waited on the final paperwork. We see her pediatrician tomorrow afternoon and the allergist next week. It's so good to be home and see her on the mend. She is very happy to be home.
One good thing did happen during our long wait for discharge. One of my high school friends who is now a pastor was visiting a family at the hospital and he came to Madelyn's room. We haven't seen each other in years. We went to Senior Prom together and he sang in my wedding. That helped pass some waiting time this morning and Madelyn slept while he was there.
AND as I was leaving I met a lady that went to high school with Tony. He doesn't remember her but she recognized the name and said they were in school together. Small world...
Madelyn is walking around wanting her daddy's complete attention just like always. She is getting back to normal.
