Ok, so maybe I'm not the perfect role model...

As is the custom for 4 year olds, Logan likes watching Cartoons. Logan likes watching Cartoons with his Dad.

Unfortunately, most cartoons these days are horrible. So, We have the DVR set to tape the Simpsons, and every now and then Logan and I watch it together.

Well, tonight for supper, I went to get some Tea. All out. Looked for a Mountain Dew. All Out. So, I grabbed a beer. (Which is normally reserved for cooking out on the Grill.)

When I sat down at the table with a beer, Logan loudly proclaimed to us all: "Daddy's drinking what Homer drinks!"

I really don't want to know what he says about us at school.

Oh well. As Homer himself said: "Here's to alcohol, the cause of—and solution to—all life's problems"

As I tell the parents of the children in my grade 2 class "you believe half of what they tell you about me, and I'll believe half of what they tell me about you!" Too funny, Tony.

Homer is such a wise soul!!!

Totally agree with you about the quality of cartoons today. Harry (my 4 yr olds) favourite DVD at the moment is a very old series of Tom and Jerry cartoons. Why can't they play stuff like that on tv? Ahhh, the good ole days, hey?!!!
